LAYOUT UPDATE?

I'm just curious to know if anything is happening on the A&O as it is quite sometime since any layout posts eg ops sessions, progress in areas, etc. Is the layout still being worked on? As I'm not in a position to visit I always look forward to seeing developments posted in this forum.

Its true, the website has been pretty quiet!  Things in David's basement slow down during the summer but haven't completely dried up! David has been working on some coal mines and loaders plus surrounding scenery along the Kayford branch.  There also a bunch of new freight cars showing up.  And of course, a big layout requires big routine maintenance!

We did host the Halloween ops session last Saturday.  Here is a couple pictures of the Hawkins and Brookstone loadouts.  The lights-out shot really shows off the night ops environment with all the in scene lighting as well as the supporting lights in facia and control panels.
