Starting to look like a rayroad.....
« on: August 19, 2024, 05:34:50 AM »
The photo backdrop is... brings things to life.

The NMRA convention will be held in the Metro-Detroit area in 2025 for the 90th year of the NMRA. I am in high gear to get 40% of the layout very close to done. There is still a long way to go even in these photos but it's a huge start! The SNRY will be open for OPs and layout tours for the event next year.

The N&W signal will be used to show lined-up N&W trains over the SNRY at Sagana, KY.

Sagana, KY Depot's last passenger train was 1967 now used by the SNRY for the division offices.

One of 13 ScaleTrains SDL39s 9 are in Ex-MILW colors and 4 are in SNRY Big Sky Blue Scheme.

Good looking photos!
I like the weathering and the scene/photo angle. Sweet.
It has been said that in the one year before an NMRA National, area layouts on tour receive about 10 years worth of attention/work. The clock's a tickin'. Been there a couple times.  :-\
