Pre RockyOp 2022 Rock & Roll

Hydrocal rock castings are going in through the gorge scenes. Tunnel portals have also been added. The Overland pin-connected truss has been removed for safekeeping.

It's events like these that really get ones, drive in gear to get things done! For those out-of-town visitors! Looking good looking forward to seeing the final project!

A couple more photos from 24Mar22. More plaster castings and colored Sculptamold going in. In the first photo, the area below David's left hand is getting a retaining wall and a drain pipe spilling into the river.

Even more rock cliffs. The empty spaces will receive trees and kudzu. The Overland pin-connected truss fits in the gap between piers.

Spring has sprung! David estimates that there are already about 500 trees in this scene. The bridge and signals are back in, ready for a pre-RockyOp shakedown op session.

Thanks for sharing this Bob.  Can't wait to see it.

So...did David channel his inner Bob Ross and put any "Happy Squirrels" anywhere?    ;D

Can't say about squirrels. They might chase after the nuts walking in the aisles.  :)

A happy alligator from the 1.0 layout may make an appearance.

There are plans for a back-country still modeled after Popcorn Sutton's.
